Hybrid Designs Australia

This one is for the cyber crop card challenge!!!!
This challenge was to scrap something new using only three colors - brown, green, and black not including the pics of course.

This challenge was to scrap something shiny and new using a minimum of 3 different ribbons or fibers....I think I ended up with 5 or 6!!!!!

This one was to scrap something new with something new from your collection.....the stuff may not be new to the market but it is all new to me....except the pic....that is about 7 years old and of my new family back when it was new!!!!! Oh yeah, there had to be something shiny or metal on it as well.......

I've been following some crops put on by the gals over at Hybrid Designs in Australia( http://hdscrapbooking.com.au/forum/index.php) and I am having tons of fun!!!!!! They are just finishing up with a crop from over the weekend and the samples above are what I turned in for the challenges!!!!!!

Have a wonderful evening!!

Serendipity - October daily contest Submissions

This card was done from a sketch that is posted on the website under sketch challenges.
This LO is obviously about my twin boys and they were both wearing their superman t-shirts that day.......this was made for the Recycle It! challenge where you had to use an ordinary household item as a scrappable item......mine was the corrugated cardboard spacer.

This was done from a sketch they borrowed from Page Maps....it is supposed to be an 8x8 page but I made mine a 12x12 page. All about the day we took our pics and how it was snowy outside.

This challenge was to take a whole line of papers and display them all on one layout.....I did mine in a patchwork quilt pattern and I used a couple of the extras that came with the paper line!!!!

This challenge was to scrap in a fashion that you are uncomfortable with. I am totally uncomfortable with white spaces...I have to put something in the space.....after I am done with the LO I usually really like it, but I have trouble with stopping in the middle and not adding anymore.....this is a LO about my puppies that we had before we had our twins....we had to find them new homes before the boys were born. :(

This was done with the round sketch, I think that it is also from Page Maps... they have some really awesome sketches there...these pics were taken of me when I was in preschool back in the early 1980s....yikes....I do like the pony though!!!!! I still don't know what happened between then and now!!!!

I love to scrap.....I will have a bunch more probably up tomorrow.....we'll see how everything goes tomorrow!!!!!

YMBD - So you think you can scrap?

Well another week has gone by and here we are again.....I have already been eliminated but the rounds are still going and it is time to vote for your favorite entry again.

We need your votes!!! Come and help us decide who should move on to Round #4 of YMBD's "So You Think You Can Scrap" Contest! Click HERE to view the submissions and cast your vote!

It looks like a lot of fun and there are a lot of entries to choose from.....awesome work from these ladies!!!!!

I will come back in later and post some pics....I've actually gotten my mojo back along with an infection of the head of some kind.....hopefully it is not strep throat!!!!!

World Card Day Crop

Okay......I had some fun this weekend......I decided not to do any of my homework and to work on some cards for a World Card Day Crop that ran from Friday October 3rd - Sunday October 5th. I tried this because I'm very unsure of myself when it comes to making cards and there were given guidelines and those challenges were created by the individual members and everyone received a ballot or two for each of the cards or challenges they entered. I was one of the lucky ones who was picked to win one of the prizes.......Yeah!!!!!!! I can't wait to get some yummy mail!!!!!!
For the two cards, above and below, the requirements were 2 patterned papers, hearts and 2 cards.

This card challenge was titled DIVA and it had to be pink and black, with bling.
This card had to have 2 pp, ribbon, and bling.

This card was done for the challenge - have the word Anniversary on the card.
This one was done for the Christmas Card Challenge.
This one had to be decorated in only die cut items....outside I have a snowflake and a snowman, and inside there are 3 christmas tree ornaments.
This card was done for the at least one chipboard element - the christmas tree.
This challenge was all about squares......had to be all squares.

This card was made using a sketch by Page Maps - don't know the name of the sketch - that was the challenge.
This card was done for the ribbon, lots of ribbon challenge.....the background purple and flowers and stripes are all strips of material ribbon taped to the background cardstock.
The two pictures, above and below, were using a magazine as inspiration for the card. I used a catalogue that came with one of my put together kids and then made my card from that.

This card was done for the dry embossing challenge - Lift it Up!!!!!!

This card was for the It's so hot..... challenge where there had to be at least one candle.
This challenge was to make a Thanksgiving card.
The pics of the card, above and below, were for the challenge Trees! - she just wanted trees!!!!

This card was done for the Stolen Sketch challenge and I cannot remember where the sketch came from - maybe Taylormade Designs???

These cards were made for the Ready Set Go challenge - create 6 cards out of one piece of 12x12 paper.
This challenge was all about circles - 3 circles....
Four cards - one with a star, one with the flag, one with American in it, and one with bling.
Red, White, and Blue challenge.
All in Pink......everything but the words had to be in pink.

I know that this is a lot but I hope that you guys like them!!!!!!! Thanks for looking!!!!
